Inspired by the turning of the seasons and new adventures around every corner, Pokémon GO Tour is bringing the Unova region to life in New Taipei City! Dive into a tale of truth and ideals as you collect Pokémon, discover legendary stories, and experience the community of Pokémon GO in-person.
All event gameplay is exclusive to ticket holders.

It’s music to our ears—for the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny Meloetta! Ticket-holding Trainers attending the in-person event in New Taipei City can gear up for Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Meloetta—and it’s all included in your event ticket!
*Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!
Trainers who attend Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – New Taipei City will be able to encounter Shiny Deerling for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!
Deerling, the Season Pokémon, takes on a different appearance during each season. Be sure to visit each habitat and encounter them all!
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – New Taipei City attendees will be able to encounter Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!
Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event. Purchase an Egg-thusiast ticket add-on and maximize your bonuses!
The Pokémon appearing in five-star raids will alternate each hour during your ticketed event hours. Reshiram will appear in raids first, followed by Zekrom.
Event-themed Pokémon will appear in unique season-themed habitats during the event! Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Deerling in the wild—if you’re lucky!
When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select which habitat you’d like to start your day in. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit all four habitats during your event day! A map of the venue, including the habitat locations, will be available closer to the event.
Outside of New Taipei Metropolitan Park, Trainers playing throughout New Taipei City during their ticketed event hours (including Trainers with a Citywide Gameplay add-on) can encounter wild Pokémon from all habitats.
Take a snapshot during the event—a costumed Pikachu may surprise you! These stylish Pikachu may be wearing Hilbert’s hat, Hilda’s hat, Nate’s visor, or Rosa’s visor. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Trainers can get up to 12 event-themed GO Snapshot surprise encounters per ticketed event day, including Citywide Gameplay add-on days.
When Professor Willow gets word of strange sightings across the world, a question arises: Could Reshiram or Zekrom be tied to these occurrences? Ticket-holding Trainers in New Taipei City can take part in an exclusive Special Research story, available to claim during their ticketed session at New Taipei Metropolitan Park!
Trainers in New Taipei City will also have access to the event’s Special Research story during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, taking place the following weekend.
Are you a force to be reckoned with? New Timed Research experiences will be available to ticket-holding Trainers while at New Taipei Metropolitan Park, awarding encounters with Incarnate Forme Tornadus, Incarnate Forme Thundurus, and Incarnate Forme Landorus!
Decipher clues about Pokémon in each habitat, and spin the corresponding PokéStops to progress in your research. Stuck on a clue? Try checking your Pokédex!
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before 5:00 p.m. GMT+8 on your ticketed event day at the venue. Trainers will only be allowed access to New Taipei Metropolitan Park to complete these Timed Researches during their ticketed event day.
All attendees will receive the following bonuses and rewards anywhere in New Taipei City on their ticketed day!
New Party Play challenges will be available to ticket-holding Trainers! Work together with friends for encounters with Throh, Sawk, Heatmor, and Durant!
You can form a party and complete Party Challenges while inside the event venue and throughout the city.
All aboard! Near select Metro stations throughout New Taipei City, special event PokéStops will appear on the in-game map. Team GO Rocket Grunts appearing at these PokéStops have turned Pokémon from the Unova region into Shadow Pokémon. Defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to save them!

Please note: No Routes will be accessible in New Taipei Metropolitan Park.
