WHERE IS THE PARK EXPERIENCE FOR THE EVENT?

Pokémon GO Tour takes place at New Taipei Metropolitan Park, situated in the heart of New Taipei City.

Please note that your ticket purchase designates your starting time and date at New Taipei Metropolitan Park. You WILL NOT be able to access Pokémon GO gameplay in the park before your assigned time and date. You must have a ticket in order to access the gameplay.

WHAT ARE THE TRANSIT OPTIONS FOR POKÉMON GO TOUR?

Here are some different transportation methods to help you come and go from Pokémon GO Tour.

Airport
New Taipei City’s major airports are Taoyuan International Airport and Taipei Songshan Airport. It takes approximately 30–50 minutes from Taoyuan International Airport to New Taipei Metropolitan Park by metro, and approximately 30–40 minutes from Taipei Songshan Airport to New Taipei Metropolitan Park by metro.

Metro

  • Sanchong Station (O15): 5-minute walk from Taipei Metro Zhonghe-Xinlu Line, Sanchong Station to New Taipei Metropolitan Park. The closest entrance to the park is Exit 1.

  • Sanchong Station (A2): 1-minute walk from Taoyuan Airport MRT, Sanchong Station to New Taipei Metropolitan Park. The closest entrance to the park is Exit 1A.

Bus

  • Sanchong MRT Bus Station*: 62, 227 district, 232, 264, 640

    • 4-minute walk from the bus station to New Taipei Metropolitan Park.
  • Cailiao (Chongyang Rd.) Bus Station*: 14, 227, 227 district, 232, 292, 621, 640, 803, 806, 1212, Zhongxiao Line

    • 10-minute walk from the bus station to New Taipei Metropolitan Park.
  • Cailiao (Chongxin Rd.) Bus Station*: 14, 62, 111, 227, 264, 292, 616, 622, 636, 638, 639, 801, 803, 820, 857, 1212

    • 10-minute walk from the bus station to New Taipei Metropolitan Park (East Entrance).

Rental Bicycle (Youbike)

  • You can find Youbike Rental Spots near Exit 1 and Exit 3 of Taipei Metro Sanchong Station. You will need a mobile phone number registered in Taiwan and EasyCard / iPASS to sign up and become a member of Youbike before your ride.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There will be no designated parking area for this event. We recommend using public transportation.

TICKET INFORMATION
WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR POKÉMON GO TOUR?

Tickets can be purchased at https://gotour.pokemongolive.com/ while supplies last.

Please note the following:

  • Event-exclusive gameplay is available only for ticket holders. Those without a ticket will not be able to play Pokémon GO inside the park during the event.
  • Event gameplay will be available only at these locations on the specified date and time.
  • When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select which habitat you’d like to start your day in. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit all four habitats during your event day! A map of the venue, including the habitat locations, will be available closer to the event.
  • Tickets to these events, including the purchase of any add-ons, are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).
  • Tickets are “first come, first served” and will be available for purchase while supplies last.
  • Trainers with child accounts can attend the event when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Their parents or guardians must purchase a ticket for themselves and for any children who will be attending this event. To register, the email associated with the parent or guardian’s Pokémon GO account must match the parent or guardian’s email address on file with Niantic Kids or Pokémon Trainer Club.
WHICH HABITAT SHOULD I SELECT WHEN PURCHASING A TICKET?

When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select which habitat you’d like to start your day in. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit all four habitats during your event day! This choice will not have any permanent effect on your gameplay.

A map of the venue, including the habitat locations, will be available closer to the event.

HOW DO I CHECK IN?

To begin your Pokémon GO Tour Park Experience, simply arrive at New Taipei Metropolitan Park on the date and time of your purchased ticket. Trainers who do not have a valid ticket will be unable to see or interact with any Pokémon within the venue.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
WHERE WILL INFORMATION BE POSTED IN CASE OF TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH THE EVENT GAMEPLAY?

Information will be posted on the Niantic Support Facebook.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T ACCESS THE EVENT GAMEPLAY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A TICKET?

Please visit the Technical Support desk. For any other gameplay issues during the event, please contact us through the in-game support feature.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THERE’S AN ERROR IN THE GAME?

For frequently asked questions regarding events, please refer to the Pokémon GO Help Center. In most cases, the issue can be resolved by restarting the game or your device.

HEALTH & SAFETY
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I FEEL UNWELL?

Please visit the first aid room located in the park or speak to the nearest staff member.

WHAT SAFETY AND SECURITY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?

We have worked closely with New Taipei Metropolitan Park and local authorities to create and follow a carefully crafted plan for fast and capable responses to a range of security needs and emergency situations to ensure the safety of all Trainers.

Evacuation procedures: If circumstances require evacuation, Trainers should follow the instructions directed by event security, police, or medical responders.

Safety tips:

  • If you see something suspicious while on event grounds or at New Taipei Metropolitan Park, please notify the nearest security staff.
  • If you have a cell phone, keep it readily available in case you need to use it.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings to avoid stumbling in wet areas and along pathways.

Lost or Missing Children
Please notify the nearest security staff, or visit the Information Desk.

Harassment
You can also visit the Information Desk if you experience any form of harassment at the event.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK?
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Helium balloons
  • Smoking is prohibited at New Taipei Metropolitan Park. This prohibition extends to e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and hookah.
  • Weapons or projectiles
  • Carrying, possessing, or discharging of any firearms, firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes, other fireworks, slingshots, or boomerangs within any County facility and parks is prohibited
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors
  • Sale or bartering of goods/services, food, and/or beverages, without prior approval of the Director of Parks & Recreation or designee
  • Excessively loud music from external or internal vehicle speakers or portable radios. Excessively loud music is defined as music at a level that annoys other park users or park neighbors.
  • Illegal and illicit substances of any kind
MERCHANDISE
WILL THERE BE POKÉMON MERCHANDISE?

There will be one merchandise booth located within the event venue that will sell Pokémon GO Tour-exclusive T-shirts to attendees while supplies last.

Note:

  • There will also be one Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE selling merchandise in the park. The Pokémon GO Tour–-exclusive T-shirt booth accepts both cash and credit card payment, while the Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE accepts credit card payment and LINE Pay.
  • Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE is open to everyone. All visitors can enter and enjoy the booth.
  • Depending on the crowd situation on the day, entry restrictions may be implemented during business hours. Also, based on the current queue situation, entry may be stopped before the closing time. We kindly ask for your understanding.
GUEST SERVICES
INFORMATION BOOTH

There will be an Information Booth located within the event. Stop by to get answers to your questions, receive registration help, learn about our accessibility plan, return found items or look for lost items, and learn more about Pokémon GO!

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

There will be a Technical Support desk located within the event. The support staff can help you if you have issues with the event gameplay.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY TRASH?

Garbage/refuse collection and disposal is ultimately the responsibility of everyone. Any and all refuse generated must be properly disposed of in receptacles located throughout the venue. Please dispose of your trash in the correct receptacles, as notated by signs.

SECURITY & ASSISTANCE
WHAT IF I NEED HELP OR GET LOST?

Security guards will be located throughout the areas of the event to provide assistance. If additional assistance is needed, visit the Information Booth or find the nearest security staff.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
CAN I BRING FOOD? WHAT FOOD IS AVAILABLE AT NEW TAIPEI METROPOLITAN PARK?

You can bring prepackaged food and bottled beverages. There will also be a variety of food vendors on-site.

IS THERE WATER?

Water fountains and vending machines are available in New Taipei Metropolitan Park. Please be mindful of the weather. Drink water even if you don’t feel thirsty. We want everyone to stay hydrated and healthy during Pokémon GO Tour!

INCLEMENT WEATHER
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. However, in the case of extreme weather or natural disasters, the event may be suspended.
